Built a 3-node Kubernetes environment running a FastAPI/PostgreSQL application with Prometheus and Grafana observability.
Prometheus initially discovered 0/0 application targets despite a healthy metrics endpoint. I traced the failure through the monitoring pipeline to Kubernetes label and Service port mismatches, corrected the ServiceMonitor configuration and restored 2/2 healthy targets.

Built and load-tested a Kubernetes deployment to study resource allocation and horizontal autoscaling under CPU-intensive workloads.
Configured resource requests/limits and a 50% CPU HPA target, generated sustained load against the API and observed the deployment automatically scale from 2 → 4 replicas in approximately 60 seconds.
